In a world of increasingly digital and meddled with vehicles, the re-introduced Toyota Land Cruiser is an analogue King. The Australians have known this for years, and we’re just catching on here in the UK - although this vehicle isn’t sold directly to Britain so they’re imported from Japan.
Worry not, though, parts are readily available (not that you’ll need them) and we suspect most issues on a Land Cruiser could be fixed with a hammer and a stick of gum.
Original (J70) models from as early as 1984 are still selling today, many with in excess of 300,000 Km on the clock. At time of writing, there’s this one, still looking great, having covered an adventurous 455,000 Km and still going.
Our LC76 Land Cruiser includes a short Front Runner roof rack and rear ladder, an internal centre console upgrade (the OEM was barely big enough to store a wallet) and upgraded wheels and tyres to suit the Devon terrain.
